Admittedly there isn't much here. It was so hot I either didn't bother with makeup much, or I was at a waterpark.

Like I said, not much. I plan to pull even less for the July shelf.. lets see if I stick with it. My favorite product this month was the Dior Eye Serum!

In July I'm going to shoot for makeup an average of 3x a week, instead of just 2 like this past month.

I still haven't figured out the phone to Windows app issue, so rather than multiple emails to myself  I shrunk down the pictures. Initially they looked okay, but I see here some quality was lost so I won't do that again.

This Was Gonna Be A Nashville Haul But...

This was gonna be a Nashville haul, but other than tickets to the Parthenon, the Zoo, and food, we didn't buy anything. (615 Deli is absolutely awesome, and the staff are incredibly nice FYI.)

Overall, a weekend (1 full day) was not enough, but I kind of found it underwhelming. We had been to Franklin before, and I really enjoyed that trip, so we wanted to go do more in Nashville. We really didn't have enough time to see the things we wanted (they are all fairly spaced out), and since we aren't party people downtown wasn't really our scene. However even if it was that was nothing like expected either, Music Row was especially underwhelming.

It was neat to see it in person, and the place we stayed was very nice, but I don't see a return trip in the foreseeable future. 

I didn't even take any pics with my phone to share here, hubby took lots on the "big camera" but he's not moved them over yet.

21. Do you read labels before you buy cosmetic products? Sometimes, if I'm looking for something with SPF, otherwise not much.
22. Have you ever experienced any allergic reaction after using a certain product? Not that I recall.
23. Which product made your skin condition worse? Nothing really, other than aggravating a pimple with too much makeup or harsh scrubbing.
24. Will you ever change your night cream? I'm always changing it up, until I find something I really love.
25. Which brand of shampoo do you use? Several. I change it up there often too.

21. Do you change your shampoo often? On occasion, for most of the past year I've been using Aveeno .
22. How much active ingredients should a product have? As many active ingredients as necessary, how ever not all ingredients are active...
23. Can you read the ingredients of cosmetics? Yes... 
24. Are you comfortable with liquid foundation or powder matte foundation? Either, but am not a fan of truly liquid products.
25. Is there any product that you have been using since your childhood day? The Wet 'n Wild eyeliner I've mentioned before, but don't use it nearly as often as I have in the past.
26. Which latest trend looks scary to you? No necessarily scary, I just don't get the blush all over the face look.
27. What’s your definition of beauty? Being true to yourself and comfortable in your own skin.
28. Are you a freaking makeup lover? Obviously.
29. Liquid lipstick or bullet lipstick? Both, but use liquid lipstick far more often.
30. Are you someone who loves to use Ayurvedic products? Never tried them.
31. Which drugstore brand is your fav? BH Cosmetics, Profusion, Wet 'n Wild, Colourpop..
32. Would you ever try vampire facial? Never heard of it.
33. Which Kardashian sister are you a fan of? Is none an option? Though I do admit to reading a post about them now and again.
34. Have you ever bought any Kylie Jenner product? Nope.
35. Which cosmetic brand is amazing yet underrated? Profusion, KleanColor..
36. Do you exchange lip products with anyone? SIs and niece..
37. Matte or glossy lippies? Depends, I like both.
38. Are you confident over how you look? Most days.
39. Do you love to try dupe products? I like to try new things, but am never usually impressed by the "dupe".
40. Which makeup mistake people usually make? Choosing the wrong foundation color.. You shouldn't be orange...or grey.

Birthday Haul!!

 Hey Y'all!

I skipped right over Wednesdays blog, oops! This past week has been busy. I had a port flush, and drove myself for the first time! Then I spent the rest of the morning shopping with my Mom and Sister, then we went out to Sis's house for the day. Thursday Sis, the kids, and I went to Splash Country (again) and had a blast! Saturday was my birthday, and hubby and I did a little shopping, and some Nashville road trip snack buying. (That road trip is this coming weekend.) Sunday hubby and I went to Splash Country, rode a few slides, dipped in the pools a few times, and spent quite awhile in the lazy river.

How To- Decals with the Cricut

 Hey Y'all!

Today I'm going to show you how to make a simple decal using your Cricut machine.

(Does anyone know a screen recording app *free, that works with Design Space? The Windows G (XBOX) does not allow me to click anything on screen.)

Here we go:

I'm going to make a Splash Country keychain decal.

With this design making a template wasn't really necessary, but for other images it could be. My keychain blank is a 2in round.

Choosing my design.

Sizing the image to fit how I like. 

Delete the template.

Prep the cutting mat.

The finish screen!

Once the mat is unloaded, it's time to weed the design.

This transfer tape wasn't quite sticky enough, I lost some "water drops" in the transfer.

Finished product!

I probably should have sized down a bit, to fit the blank better, but you get the idea.

 Hey Y'all!

I went to a waterpark with my sister and the kids yesterday, and I'm wore out today! Not that I really need an excuse to do another tag/Q&A.

1. What’s your current favorite skincare product? Currently the Dior Eye Serum I'm trying through Influenster! So amazing!
2. Which essential oil do you use the most? None.
3. What’s your favorite hair pack? Hask makes some really good ones, but my hair (and skin) is totally different post chemo, so I don't have a fav yet.
4. Do you love to use hair serum? Sometimes.
5. How important is sunscreen? EXTREMELY!!!!!
6. Which makeup brand is your favorite? hmmm. I Don't know. I love trying new things, and have favorite items from all kinds of brands.
7. Do you love to curl your eyelash? The act? No. The look, yes.
8. How difficult is to draw a Wing liner? I don't even try.
9. Mascara or a simple eyelash curler? Both.
10. What’s your opinion on the world famous Becca Highlighter? Never owned it, seems pointless now.

11. Which foundation is your favorite? I'm really not wearing any now, it's too hot. I don't have a current favorite.
12. Are you a BB cream, CC cream, or a foundation person? Any of them, but not really a fan of anything full coverage.
13. How important do you think baking is for makeup? Not at all. Just a time wasting step.
14. Subtle makeup look or a bold one, which one do you prefer to do your daily look? Either one, whatever mood I'm in/feel like doing.
15. What’s the trendiest look that you want to try soon? Nothing in particular.
16. Have you ever tried to do the curly eyebrows? No.
17. Which is your favorite moisturizer? I haven't found one I love yet.
18. Serum or moisturizer – what’s your first choice? Either.
19. Do you really feel that primer is necessary before applying moisturizer? No.
20. How important is the skincare regime for you? More than before, I'm trying to find the right products for me.
21. Which cream do you apply at night? The above mentioned Dior, and Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, and Lip Sleeping Mask.
22. Is it necessary to buy a night cream? Depends on your skincare needs.
23. What’s your favorite makeup brand? Did we not ask this already??? (#6)
24. Which makeup item you bought first with your pocket money? Wow, wording... Um probably either a lipstick, face powder, or mascara... I don't remember, that was a loooooong time ago.
25. Which is your favorite perfume? Marc Jacobs... seriously just about all of them.

   76. Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? Not particularly.

   77. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert.

   78. Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest? Sight I suppose.

   79. Have you ever had a surprise party? (that was an actual surprise) My 30th B-Day, though I figured something was up fairly early.

   83. If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? No violent crimes.. other than that I don't care what people do with their lives. I'd run a horrible country I'm sure. Not something I'd ever care to do.

   84. Who was your favorite teacher in school and why? Mrs Broome 2nd grade, she truly seemed to care for all her students, and remembered them long after.

   85. What three things do you think of the most each day? Family, what I'm doing for the day, drinking water.

   92. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Who know? I'll be almost 50, wow.

   93. What was your first job? I can't remember if Dishwasher/Salad Bar at Robin's came first or Sales Associate at Legg's Hanes. (Both in Lodi, OH)

   95. How many languages do you speak? One, and I know some ASL, and Spanish but not enough to hold a conversation.
