Beauty Tag (76-100)

 Hey y'all!

Tag can be found HERE. Why the numbers get changed in the copy I don't know but this is 76 to 100.

  1. Which essential oil can heal acne and pimples? Don't use them, so don't care.
  2. Do you ever buy products out of curiosity? Occasionally, but I generally look up the product first.
  3. How important is an attractive product packaging? For something new it has some importance, if it's not eye catching I'm probably not going to glance at it.
  4. If a product is effective but does not have a promising label and graphics – then would you still buy that? If it was recommended I may try it, but if I hadn't heard of it probably not.
  5. How important is the advertisement while purchasing any cosmetic? Depends on where/how. If it's strictly print or TV I'd probably never see it.
  6. Do you read online reviews while buying a particular product? Yes.
  7. Do you love your skin? It's doing it's job. I don't LOVE it, but I don't dislike it either.
  8. What makes your hair care very special? Umm. nothing. I use the same things as lots of other people.
  9. Which is your favorite conditioner? I like Oribe Gold Lust and Hair Food
  10. Glossy or dry matte – what’s your favorite eyeliner? Matte.
  11. What’s the most promising lipstick this year? TBD. I've not tried many new this year, we'll see.
  12. Which brand of oil do you use on your face? I haven't found one I love yet. Suggestions?
  13. What’s your holy grail skin oil? See above.
  14. How often do you change your skin care products? Until I find something I love, or my skin changes. So pretty often.
  15. Do anti-aging products work? Some do, some don't.
  16. What’s the best natural anti-aging product according to you? Coverage. Stay out of the sun between 10 -3 when possible.
  17. Do you experiment with your cosmetics? YES!
  18. Which product lasts longer in your closet? Clothes, lol. If you mean cosmetics wise it takes forever to go through foundation because I don't wear it very often.
  19. Are you a compulsive buyer? Not too much.
  20. How often do you shampoo every week? HUH?!? I wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week typically.
  21. Do you take care of your eyes? Yes.
  22. Which eye cream is your current favorite? Dior!
  23. Lavender oil or Rosemary oil – what’s your favorite essential oil for hair care? Too short to need oils.
  24. Eggs on breakfast or eggs on hair? Food. I'm not into making a big mess.
  25. Which tip would you like to give to other makeup lovers? Play around and have fun!

Hey Y'all!

 Hey Y'all!

Sorry about skipping Wednesdays blog. It's been a busy week!

Last Tuesday I went to Splash Country with my sister and the kids. Wednesday I had to go pick up the oral contrast. Thursday was my CT scan. The berry flavor is way, way better than the orange! Seriously so much better. Why they want you there 30min early I don't know, but I was out of there before my actual appointment time. Friday I spent with Mom (she had to go pick up her glasses). Saturday was more errands. Sunday we just chilled (ha, yeah right it was 97 degrees) at home.

Today was my check up, and scan results. This morning my tire was extremely low, but I pumped it back up and it seems to be holding air just fine. Someone stole my (tire) stem caps, who knows why..  From a cancer standpoint everything looks great (still NED). I have some sort of skin irritation she biopsied, awaiting results on that, but she ordered some prescriptions I have to pick up.

That's it for today!

How are you doing? Let me know in the comments below.

Have a great day,

Another Crafty Tag

 Hey Y'all!

I haven't been crafting much recently, so I didn't have a blog prepared for today. Enjoy a short craft tag, and feel free to play along in the comments below.

First I did this craft quiz:

https://www.thequiz.com/arts-and-crafts-quiz/

It was about knowing different crafts and tools.

Results:

Then I did this one, about what my craft should be from HGTV

The results there were kind of surprising!

I've had a garden a few times, but can never grow much, so I haven't had one in years. I blame the clay/soil.

After that I did this one, again about what craft I should try.

I like that they showed the breakdown of everyone's answers, but they didn't include many crafts here.

Funny tidbit, my niece is actually learning Calligraphy now...

Lastly, I found these questions on YouTube, but had to modify:

1. Which of your current WIPS are you most looking forward to finishing most? I need to start and finish a shirt order, but don't have any current work(s) in progress.

2. Which project are you most excited about starting? I'd like to do some tie-dye and vinyl stuff. I've seen some that look pretty cool.

3. Are there any new crochet stitches/techniques you would like to try? I'd like to progress beyond scarves, rags, etc.

4. Will you be participating in a craft class this year? I don't have any plans to, but I'm not opposed to the idea.

5. Do you have any craft goals for 2021? Not specifically.

6. Which projects would you like to see more of? Anything! I love seeing what others come up with.

7. Shout-out a fellow crafter who you are excited to watch? There are a ton of crafters to follow on all social media, I shared some of my favorites in a previous blog.

8. Are there any projects that you made in the past that you would like to make again? I really enjoyed doing party décor, I'd like to do more of it.

9. Tag someone: You!

Have a great day,

Beauty Tag (51-75)

 Hey Y'all!

Here's part three of the 202 Beauty Qu's:

  1. Makeup brushes or makeup sponge? Brushes!
  2. Do you feel confident of your makeup-free look? Most of the time, yes.
  3. Would you love to try monochromatic look? I have.
  4. What’s so fascinating about your nighttime skincare routine? Nothing. I wash my face and apply whichever cream/serum/oil I'm trying out.
  5. What’s your favorite K-Beauty product? Nothing I've tried is a "love it" product. If you have any suggestions, please share in the comments below.
  6. If you are asked to carry only one makeup item with you, then what would be that? A palette, if you really try you can get almost a full face out of a good eye palette.
  7. What’s your current face wash? Neutrogena
  8. How many times do you wash your face? Once. If you lather, rinse, repeat your face, you're really stripping it of all the oils and it'll over produce from the lack of.
  9. Charcoal powder or chocolate – what’s your favorite face mask? Neither.
  10. Do you use any DIY facial mask at home? Sure, they're fun!
  11. Which is your favorite scrub at the moment? Body, scalp, or face? I like them all, but not loyal to any brand yet.
  12. If you find an alternative to a luxury brand, then would you still use that? Uh yeah.
  13. Which chemical in cosmetics you just hate absolutely? Formaldehyde....
  14. What’s your favorite weekend hair pampering? Doing nothing, LOL.
  15. Is it alright to tie your hair while sleeping at night? Not with rubber bands.
  16. What’s your favorite hair care treatment? Amika Hair Mask.
  17. How often do you oil your hair? IN the Summer, and now that it's short? Never.
  18. Do you use any heat protection for your hair? IF I heat style, yes. I really like Beauty Protector.
  19. How many ratings would you give to your skincare routine? 3. 'Cause I'm lazy.
  20. Is it necessary to use essence? Of???? No.
  21. Physical exfoliation or chemical exfoliation – which one do you love? Physical.
  22. Which country has the most gorgeous people? There are beautiful people everywhere.
  23. Do you take any beauty supplement? Nope, most are "snake oil".
  24. Which natural product is your favorite skin staple? Nothing yet.
  25. Have you ever faced acne problems? Nope. Some breakouts as a teen, and the occasional pimple but nothing major.

What I've Been Working On (Craft)

 Hey Y'all!

I've been terrible with remembering to take pictures for the blog, a few things can be seen on FB or Instagram, but overall I've not taken many photos.

I did a few shirts, a keychain, a page of color-your-own stickers for my niece, and I don't know what all else that I didn't get photos of.

I did take screenshots of my entries for the Cricut Cutie contest, although I'd probably sell the thing if I won.

I also did up a few mockups of (more) travel mugs:

Other than that I did the card for the monthly Pen-Pal swap, but never remember to snap a pic of that before I seal the envelope.

I'll try and do better with the photos next time!

Have a great day,

July Everyday Shelf

 Hey Y'all!

As promised July Shelf has less products pulled. I did well in June using just the items I pulled, but, as mentioned in a previous blog only wore make up a few times.

Reminded of what I was working with in JUNE:

I kept a lot of the same face products for July. I really only changed out lip glosses/lip sticks and eyeshadows.

July:

I had said previously that I'd declutter the Cover FX at the end of June, but I changed my mind. The quality hasn't changed, and since I'm going to the waterpark often, this works well with sunscreen and adds a bit of shimmer.

I pulled some of my birthday Wet 'n Wild haul.. a few palettes, and lip products, and kept the rest the same.

Overview shows me I probably pulled to many lip glosses, but I'm setting a goal to use each one once. It seems like an attainable goal for the month.

What's been your go to makeup this Summer? Anything new I should try? Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great day,
