Product Review~ Dollar Tree Planner

Another Dollar Tree Product.
The 15-16 School Year Agenda Planner

I've used some of the other Dollar Tree planners, but I like this one a little more simply because I can decorate it (more easily), there's more space in each day, the pages are a little thicker, and lastly it's colorful!


This planner runs from Aug-July, and I hope they carry it again in next years back to school section. I am loving that it's a fully functioning planner for only $1! I will be buying it next year if available.

Favs and Fails

I can't think of any fails this month!

My faves were:
1) NYX Intense Butter Lip Gloss, especially in Spice Cake. The color(s) are super bright, very glossy, and have great staying power. They are barely "sticky" and are decently moisturizing. I'd buy more if I could find them on sale!

2) Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Spray. I have the sample from Birchbox. This is a miracle for my hair, it used to take me forever to comb out my hair after a shower, now it's less than 5min! The smell is faint & not off putting, so it doesn't overpower any other fragrance I have on.

3) Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Fragrance Mist by Bath & Bodyworks.  A festive, light, sweet scent. Perfect for this time of year!

September Empties

Not much to share this month, just a shampoo & conditioner, some Physicians Formula, and a deodorant sample:

1& 2) Spa Haus Teatree Mint Shampoo & Conditioner~ I got mine at Dollar Tree, I am still seeing it in stores but can't find it on their website. Hubby and I both used this throughout the months of July/Aug. We both really liked the scent and the way it worked on our hair, my only complaint is that the shampoo is a little thinner than the name brand, but at 90% cheaper I can handle that issue. I have already repurchased this, however am using the Spa Haus Keratin set currently.

3) Physicians Formula Super BB All in One Beauty Balm Powder~ If you've ever read my blog you know how much I love Physicians Formula products, I've done several reviews in the past on their products. It goes without saying I've already repurchased this.

4) Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid Deodorant~ I got this sample through PinchMe. Did it work? Yes, but I didn't notice it preforming any better than a regular deodorant. I don't think I'm Clinical Strengths target customer, but either way $7.99 is too much for something that doesn't outdo it's $3.00 sister products.

Birchbox, YAY!

It has finally arrived!

I am missing the Avene Thermal Spring Water, however I messaged Birchbox on Facebook, and they responded in minutes and are sending one out to me.

I have tried the Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara, and WOW! This may be my new favorite!
I've also tried the Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lip Locked in the shade Lucky, this feels amazing but the color is just about the same as my natural lip color, so as a primer its great, but I don't think I'll wear it alone (again).
I've yet to try the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, the BioRepublic mask, and of course the Avene product.
