Declutter Series #2 ~ Eye Shadows

 Hey Ya'll!!

Sorry it's been so long!

Eye Shadow Palette Declutter! Yay!

It had been months since I even went through all my make up. Probably closer to a year or better since I'd done a declutter. That being said I knew going in I wasn't going to declutter much from this category. My goal was between 3 and 5.

Lets see how I did:

Here we go!

I started by emptying the drawer, and then separating by brand.

A few small stacks were made!

Progress happening, these are the keeps from various brands:

purcosmetics
stilacosmetics

Drawer #1 is done!

Now on to all my Too Faced!!

I clearly have a favorite brand here:

All put away neatly in drawer #2:

Here's what didn't make the cut:

Why?

Makeup Revolution was just too old, as well as the Wonder Woman palette.

The Sleek Cosmetics, and little Ulta palettes I just never reach for.

The Jaclyn x Morphe (purple) I have other purples that just work better for me.

Stats:

Started with~ 57 (What isn't pictured is what's ended up on my "every day" shelf, we'll get there...)

Kept~ 52

Decluttered~ 5

Kept 91.2%

I reached my goal, but am going to have to be more cut throat next declutter, after I play with some stuff more.

How do you think I did? Do you see any favorites in my collection? Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great day,

Declutter Series #1, Nail Polish!

Hey Ya'll!

Sorry this is so late, we took a last minute vacation last week, and there was no internet.

Nail Polishes!
I decided to start off this declutter series when my nail polish storage broke and fell off the wall. I only lost one to breakage, but realized it had been YEARS since I'd went through them all.

Everything

I did this declutter in two sections, first I removed polishes that I had more than one of, or would no longer wear the color. I'm not into spending the time it takes for nail art, so all that is getting decluttered.

Declutter

Then while color sorting I pulled out old, dried out polishes for trash.

Trash
After I color sorted I got down to the "nitty gritty" in choosing what to keep in each color family. The ones that are upside down in each picture are decluttered.

Yellow

Glow in the Dark

Grey/Black

Green

Blue

Purple

Red

White/Clear

Orange

Pink

Bronze/Gold/Misc

Stats:
Started with 171
Decluttered 37 (As well as 15 sticker sets, 1 kit, nail art, and dryer)
Trashed 54

Overall kept 80, or 53.2%

This is the current storage situation, until I can come up with something better:

The same color family is kept together, but in no particular order.

I did better than I thought, though I got rid of a lot to the trash. I could probably cut the purples and blues some more, but I'm happy with where it's at now.

June 19th Update

Hey Ya'll!!

Chemo #6 was yesterday, today (the 19th) is my birthday!!

Recap thus far:
Chemotherapy 1-3 followed pretty much the same timeline, and same side effects. 4 kicked my butt with constipation, hot flashes, pain, and fatigue for what felt like forever. 5 I had a little bone pain, hardly noticed it, and only lasted the day, that was it. Just had 6, the benadryl hit hard, and I actually slept for a little over an hour during treatment, that's never happened before...

So far I'm in a love/hate relationship with neulasta on board today. She put it further back so I keep bumping it into everything, doesn't hurt, just annoying. And could not get to sleep last night do to it's super slow green strobe light/dying flashlight glow every 5 seconds, and the steroid &menopause hot flashes. Glad it's only on for a total of 29hrs, meds start at 27hr mark and run for around 45min to an hour, remove an hour after that. The neulasta has been doing its job though, and that's what really matters.

I'll have a scan in 5wks to see how chemo has worked. If all is well, I'll see my gyno oncologist team every 3mo for 2 yrs, then every 6mo for 3 more. (A total of 5yrs.)
If chemo hasn't done the job/hasn't finished the job in 6 treatments, we will discuss further treatment options.

Pics from yesterday/today can be seen here:

What I've Been Working On!

Hey Ya'll!!

Haven't been working on much, been kinda lazy. I feel perfectly fine, just too busy vegging out to YouTube.

I did finish my mom's door since she plans to list in the not so distant future. (Her roof is metal, and green, and her siding is a light yellow, everything is accented in a medium/dark brown.)

I used Cricut removable vinyl in Yellow from the Tropical Sampler, and (Bright) Green from The Paper Studio. The green was almost impossible to work with. It didn't want to weed, or stick to anything but me, LOL. I do have more The Paper Studio vinyl, and I'll use it up, or at least attempt to, but depending on how that goes I don't plan to purchase it again. Anyone else have trouble with it?

Other than that I've been playing around in Cricut Design Space quite a bit, here's a small sampling of stuff I'm designing:

What have you been working on?

Have a great day,
