How To: 5 Easy Steps To Connect Your Cricut Machine Via Bluetooth

 Hey Y'all,

The process is fairly simple, and in todays blog I'll share how to with Windows & android, since those are the products I own and am familiar with.

First, via Android:

1. Ensure your Cricut machine is powered on and within 10-15 feet of your mobile device. The further away the weaker the connection.
2. Open Settings and then Bluetooth.
3. Ensure that Bluetooth is ON and select your Cricut machine's Bluetooth device code from the list. Your machine's Bluetooth device code is printed or engraved on your machine, near the serial number.. If prompted for a PIN or pairing code, enter 0000 Cricut Explore Air 2 or older may require this. Newer machines do not.
4. Your Cricut machine is now paired for Bluetooth connection!
5. Return to Design Space and New Product Setup. Your Cricut machine should now show up as connected during setup.

Next via Windows:

1. Ensure your Cricut machine is powered on and within 10-15 feet of your computer.
2. From your Start menu, select Settings (gear icon) and then open the Devices option.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Ensure that Bluetooth is ON and click Add Bluetooth or other device.
   
   
   
   
4. Select Bluetooth and wait for the computer to detect your Cricut machine. This took awhile for me, so be patient. Select your machine's Bluetooth device code from the list. Your machine's Bluetooth device code is printed or engraved on your machine, near the serial number. It is normal for Cricut machines to show up as an Audio device in this list. 
5. If prompted for a PIN or pairing code, enter 0000.
6. Your Cricut machine is now paired for Bluetooth connection!

What Am I Doing With My Hair?!

So, I've decided, at least through the summer, it's much easier to let it grow. I can now put up the top, and sides, and it almost all fits in a pony tail. That's much easier with all the windy days & working here in NW Indiana.

May was a real one.

If you follow any Outland Adventures social media you already know...

We started out in NW Indiana, doing our jobs, and a few fun things in-between. Then we left for all my doctor's appointments and scans in NE Tennessee...

And things went far more south than we expected. 

Multiple breakdowns, big decisions, new/bigger vehicle purchase, troubleshooting and repairs on it....

Taking forever. Chris did what he could and then it went to the shop.. it's been there for over a week, as they waited on parts to arrive, and getting work done. That took far longer than expected. Once parts arrived they supposedly continued work. Monday, turned into Tuesday, Wednesday... Thursday they gave an actual update that they hadn't even really began the 2 big jobs, but should be done by Friday. It's 1pm on Friday... We're still here.

What was supposed to be a few days turned into almost a month in Tennessee so far...

All my doctor's appointments and scans went well, and I'm in the clear! Woohoo! That was a crazy week of many appointments.

What'd we do while in TN? 

The setup of the new bus(?). That took a couple days. Repairs, part store runs, rinse and repeat. Put it in the shop, finding one that would take it took a minute. What was supposed to be a rear break check, oil change, and alignment turned out to be a steering box replacement, and all new everything for the rear breaks. Alignment was spot on.

Getting tags/title changes from a bus to a Motor Home took less than 15min. Getting insurance took forever! Several days back and forth with the company we were with previously, and a full day searching for something/someone who could cover it.

I renewed my license, they mail them now- it has yet to arrive. The reimbursement check from the previous insurance (we had paid for the year) arrived yesterday.

We spent time with my sister and her family, and stayed at my moms.

The weather was mostly cool and rainy, so other than sitting on the porch and running errands with mom we didn't spend much time outside. Once it warmed up we spent a day at the park, walking & watching the ducklings.

101. Do you have freckles? I did as a kid in the summertime, now I don't think so. If I do they aren't visible to me.
102. Have you ever tried to increase the density of your eyelash? No.
103. Which brand of fake eyelashes lasts longer? I don't wear them, so I don't know. I would like to try out the real magnetic ones (not the eyeliner kinds) but I can't see myself spending much on them.
104. Which cosmetic brand you have never tried? Most Indy brands, simply because I don't know which are reputable brands (and shipping is crazy).
105. What’s your current favorite salon? I actually don't have one.
106. How many glasses of water do you drink daily? between 7 and 16 ish.
107. How many hours of sleep is needed for a beautiful and gorgeous looking skin? 7-9 is what I think they say is ideal.
108. Heavy coverage, moderate coverage, or low coverage – what works the best for you? Light to medium. Full coverage feels yuck on my face. 
109. Do you use concealer on a regular basis? Nope.
110. What type of eyeshadow pallet is your bae? One with COLOR and 1 or 2 nudes.
111. Nude look or vibrant look – what do you prefer? Either, depends on the day.
112. Have you ever tried any weird looking lipstick? Yes. Denim blues, grey, gold, purple... Usually get looks in small town Tennessee, but so what!
113. In which look do you get a number of compliments? Warm colors... pink, peach, orange tends to go over well.
114. Do you regret any product purchasing decision? I'm sure we all do. Mine is an old Physicians Formula mascara. They don't carry it anymore but the brush applicator was stiff as a board, and the product itself was a mess!
115. What’s your best-bought product ever? In recent memory, Profusion Lip TInt/Oil. Love it.
116. In which product, do you usually splurge your money? Foundation/CC/BB Cream. The drugstore ones just don't do it. I can't find a decent color match and they oxidize too quickly.
117. Which brand of shower gel do you love to use? Bath and Bodyworks.
118. Like your skin, do you feel it is necessary body exfoliator? On occasion, yes.
119. Have you ever tried to wash your hair using clay? No...
120. Which type of clay mask is your favorite? I don't really see any benefits from them.
121. Do you believe that commercial products can really save your skin? "Save" no. Help out, yes.
122. Are you facing any skin problem currently? Nope.. 
123. Cold wax or hot wax? If you're gonna do, go with hot. IMO it works better and easier.
124. What’s your opinion about Mineral oil? I don't have one.
125. How do you treat skin tan? Moisturize, and sunscreen during the day.
