What I'm Working On (Crafty)

 Hey Y'all!

Here's what I've been working on lately in the craft room:

Making a card for my BIL's grandmother's 90th!

I'm using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, and the stamp set is from Prima.

I haven't done any coloring in a while, and it shows. I look forward to practicing more.

Next I worked on some gifts for BIL's birthday!

His B-Day is Feb 5th!

Then I made some Valentines decor:

I bought these heart shaped wood signs from Dollar Tree and painted them with Plaid paints.

I used my Cricut for the stencil (above) and then decided to try HTV on the other. Both worked well, but the HTV was way less time consuming.

After that Shadow Wolf Studios wanted some tees and decals done:

Lastly I did a few name decals:

Also worked on a Deborah in glitter and holographic vinyl (5 total), but didn't take pics before packaging it up.

February Everyday Shelf

 Hey Y'all!

I didn't declutter anything from January's shelf:

Overview!

After careful consideration the Morphe palettes will stick around. I like the quality just fine, the packaging just annoys me. The large size I can get over, I just hate the all black. I dislike having to open them every single time to remind myself what's in there, and which palette is which. They're [thisclose] to being decluttered to my niece. I'm giving myself another month to decide, therefore there sticking around for February.

February:

I've decided to keep the cream products around this time too. I don't reach for them~ ever, and need to figure out if that's because I don't like them or I need to figure out how to use them. (ABH Cream Contour, & Lip Palettes*,  Sephora Cream Highlight*)

Close up! I'm going to try to pan this Too Faced Bronzer. I love it. I bought it, got it home, and immediately dropped it. So since it's broken, and I don't want to try repressing, and fear putting it away, using it up seemed the logical choice. I'm also trying to use up as much of the Cover FX Glitter Drops before they expire. The BH Cosmetics Truffle Blushes are new, and I can't wait to try them.

Craft Room Storage Section #8 (Final)

 Hey Y'all!

We're finally doing the last post in the craft room storage series, and things have changed in there already. I anticipate more decluttering in there as well. Are you interested in seeing that here? let me know in the comments below.

Section 8 is on the wall with the (mostly) clear stamp storage. (I'd love something better for those too.) It's mainly books but there's some craft stuff, and Disney items there as well.

These are a mess:

On top of here was all my Holiday wood mount stamps, but as mentioned previously I decided to get rid of those. Craft & fitness books, and another Xyron sit on the top shelves.

The rest of this shelfing unit houses books, and in front of that the frames I keep moving around the room & the shelf I've yet to hang in the kitchen... Pretty sure that's where I want it..

The bottom here is books, and scrapbook paper (12x12's).

More books, and randomness. I didn't get this years Ulta 12 Days of Christmas, but I had gotten the previous ones (since moving in to this house.) This one was eh, compared to the last few. 

As I've said these book cases (the whole room really) need decluttered and organized better. I'm happy with how the Cricut Easy Press Station is, other than that it all needs help.

SinfulColors Sweet & Salty Nail Polish Review

 Hey Y'all!

Today I'm talking about the Sinful Colors Sweet & Salty Collection. I have two shades, Taco Tuesday, {pictured} and Pizza Party. These are the only two I've seen locally.  There are six shades in total. I would love to see the others in person, the cookies & cream, or donut even are especially interesting.

Pictured is two very thin coats of Taco Tuesday.

Directions:

Shake gently. Apply 2 coats of color + 1 coat of top coat.

I did not add a top coat, which I'm sure would have helped, but I only wanted to wear this a few days, since I wasn't sure how it was going to perform or if I'd like the look.  Without a top coat it lasted about 2 days before chipping. I'm 99% sure that's due to the textures of the "taco toppings".

The scent was there, but just barely, which worked for me since I didn't want anything overpowering. I noticed it while painting them, and again when I smelled my hands afterward. It still smells like nail polish, but not nearly as strong as normal. I'd like to see how the sweeter shades smell. 

It was a fun experience, and I've not tried a scented polish since childhood! For around $2.00 USD I'd definitely recommend. I think they'd be especially fun for a tween/teen sleepover.

Where the heck have I been? Plans going forward, and a photo dump!

 Hey Y'all!

I know. It's been a long time. I apologize, I planned to take a week off, and then it just kinda snowballed from there. I was set to re-start after Christmas, then I pushed it to New Year's, and here we are at the end of January. 

That's quarantine life I've found.  Wanting to be productive, and wanting to do nothing all at the same time. I have done other projects, but nothing that really kept me from blogging. Mental health is a struggle too. My most recent CT was this past Friday, results and check up on Wednesday. And while I know it already is what it is, I can't help but worry every time, ya know?! (Also, yes the drink is just as nasty the second time around... maybe more so.) Enough Debbie Downer shit, let's have fun!!

Going forward I still plan on blogging twice a week. Monday's going forward will be reserved for crafting content, and Wednesday's will be beauty related. I'll have an occasional addition blog on Friday's where anything goes. This is also where I'll share life "stuff".

2) What I've been working on:

Coasters, shirts, cards, water bottles, and more. Not pictured is my decision to do away with all my wood mount stamps (they're currently on FB marketplace) and a few other projects I've finished. Some things I share on instagram, but not here.

This holographic vinyl was not name brand, and impossible to work with, but I got it done. I will finish the roll, but not purchase again. 

3) Dec/Jan everyday shelf & empties/declutters:

Decluttered, none of them were my favorite. I have too much to keep what I don't love.

The problem with December's shelf was I pulled way way too much!

Empties (or expired). 

January's shelf. I've vowed to get rid of these Morphe if I didn't finally use them. The plain black packaging annoys me since I can't see what it is right away, but I did manage to use them this month. I like the quality, just not the packaging. We'll see if they continue to stick around..
