How To: Simple Thanksgiving Placemats & Place Card Holders (Paper Crafting)

 Hey Y'all!

Today we're going to do some paper crafting with Cricut, to make some Thanksgiving table placemats, and place cards!

Supplies:

Cricut (I used my Explore Air 2 for this project, to do the draw function you will need the Air 2 or newer machine.)

Paper of your choice (I used The Coral Couture Cardstock Stack, from DCWV 2011.)

Cricut marker/pen of your choice (I chose the medium tip Metallic Cricut Marker in Copper for the placemats and Silver for the place cards.)

Place Cards~

#M3DOE151C (Pumpkin)

#M8D20EAE (Turkey)

Font- BFC Autumn Harvest

Before we start here's the two mistakes I made~

I either should have done the placemats larger, or used the pen (thinner lines) instead of the marker. I just wanted both to fit on one mat for time (and blog) purposes. As it stands they're still cute, but not really able to read the written portions.

Number two, check cut settings. I needed it to be a bit deeper on the place cards, but this was workable...barely.

Placements-

1) Choose & Size your image.

2) Set to Draw, Pen.

3) Choose your pen size & color.

4) Select make it, and load mat with your paper choice into machine.

The draw process can take a LONG time, I didn't time it, however I had completely searched and designed the place cards before draw was finished.

5) Unload machine, mat, and material. All done!

A quick video of both-

Place Cards-

1) Select and size your cut images. (I changed the turkeys to orange, because I wanted them all the same color, and one mat. I ended up using green paper.)

2) Choose a font.

3) Change the font to DRAW.

4) Pick marker (or pen) & color.

5) Select both the image and the font and ATTACH.

6) Ready to send to the MAKE screen. (Follow prompts.) Load mat with your paper choice into machine.

7) This one doesn't take near as long, let the machine draw then cut. Unload mat and materials when prompted.

If you make either of these, or any variation, please share with me on social media! (@craftinwife on most platforms)

October Makeup Looks!

 Hey Y'all!

I didn't do much makeup in October, and I forgot to take a pic several times, but here are the looks:

1) Fresh color!

2)

Look at those lashes!

3)

4)

5) Hubby's company picnic.

6)

7)

8)

9) Trunk or Treat.

I know there were at least 3 or so instances I wore makeup, but no pics. 2 were while camping, so very basic looks. I think that was the theme this past month. So far November isn't going any better, lol. I just haven't been in a makeup mood.

I don't think I have a favorite look for the month, if I had to choose I'd probably pick either 1 or 6.

I need some inspiration, share with me on social media or the comments below!

Have a great day,

My Christmas Wish List

 Hey Y'all!

Are you celebrating the Holidays this year? What's on your wish list? Share it in the comments below!

Here's the link to my Amazon Wish List:

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/V47OT9NO6RJD?ref_=wl_share

My mom already told us she was getting us an air fryer, the rest of my list is basically craft supplies, & books.

Other items we could use are:

New bathroom towels, like big fluffy ones.

Cookie Sheets. Why do these wear out so quickly?

Grocery, Food, &/or Gas Gift Cards.

Hubby hasn't asked for anything specific, other than a planner. He's easy to shop for though.

We're done shopping for my niece, and Mom. Everyone else has a good start, or is nearly done. I need to take it all out of the closet and start wrapping. Mainly to see how much more we need to buy the nephew, I can't remember all of it!

Have a great day,

Make Up Declutter Pt 1

 Hey Y'all!

First off I want to apologize for being a day late and a dollar short this week with getting things up. I just haven't been the least bit motivated to do any of it (blog, social media, post new items, etc). I also really didn't feel like doing a declutter yet.

I did take a few pics of my collection literally 5 minutes ago, specifically so this blog would have some visuals. (I'll post those at the end.)

I need to do a bit of a declutter, and that will be when Part 2 is scheduled later this month, but until then here's the previous declutter/collection blogs:

New Items & What I'm Working On

 Hey Y'all!

I've still got a bit of a cough, but otherwise feel much better. So thankful the headache is gone!

I really haven't been working on much these past few weeks. First we were camping, then I was sick, but I did manage to get a few things done.

We did get the Halloween stuff packed packed up, and put away. For me it's too early to start Christmas decorating. I also straightened up the craft room, and am working on the LR.

Last month's blog:

What's New:

You've actually seen all this before in previous blogs...

Decal order:
Lastly, I did add a few items to go imagine, but need to do some holiday designs soon.

What are you working on this month? Let me know in the comments!
