Hey Y'all!
This was kinda fun! There's so much room in each drawer now, except markers, I had just done those about a month ago, and it stays full.
Underneath my desk was long overdue for a clean out.. I don't know if it had been done since we moved in here, and I found a whole box of (mostly) Halloween stickers.
Foam stickers?!?!
Way too many!!
Next was my 2 ribbon boxes, I hardly ever makes bows anymore, so I didn't need all that ribbon.
So much of this is still brand new!
Two bins~ I knew it was a lot of ribbon, but this is crazy! And I kept a good amount.
After that I did the first set of drawers under the desk, the top is adhesives so I knew nothing was going there, but the middle was a bunch of random craft items:
Next I went through my paint drawer. I was surprised how quickly that went. (Fabric paints not included, there in another section.) There was a decent amount that was so dried up it went straight to the trash, and I didn't bother taking a picture, we all know what dried paint looks like. These Martha Stewart paints are unopened, I did open the orange to make sure it was all still good, and it is. I just don't have a need for them and know someone else can get far more out of them than I am.
Lastly, I had been using some American Crafts glitter vinyl, and I am not impressed. Usually I like all their products, not this. It cuts horribly, is crazy thin, and has no "stick". Maybe it's me, maybe it's too old (from Tuesday Morning), but it had to go too. I also had some (same brand) foil vinyl that I had to test after my experience with the glitter, and it cuts beautifully. So I'd call their vinyl hit and miss, and probably won't purchase again. Too many good vinyl brands to play a guessing game with my money.
I plan to share the updated craft room in a May blog, it should be finished by then. I'm thinking this declutter series final on Monday will be a large one... I still have about half the craft room to go! That will be on Monday.
Have a great day,
Craftin' Wife
