April Looks

 Hey Y'all!

First off an update about the Makeup Revolution/I Heart Revolution Donut Palette. As I said in a previous blog, my sister convinced me to give it another shot, here's how it went:

I used Smashbox 24hr Shadow Primer, these two were apparently made for each other. It's the best performance I've ever gotten out of a Makeup Revolution eyeshadow.

Above is first applied. Below is after 8+hrs!!

Currently I'm undecided on the brand, my niece has some more palettes and next time I visit maybe I'll give them a try. I won't spend anymore money on their eyeshadows quite yet.

The rest of April's looks:
Get ready it's a big one!

My hair does what it wants now.. I give up most days, lol.

This is my first ever M.A.C. palette and WOW! So nice! (Hubby picked out my makeup on this day.)

My sister got me this Nabla palette, and I'm enjoying the color story here. I also have this one. They're both great quality!

I'm really trying with this tarte palette. (Link to current collection.)
I used to really like this palette, but now I'm not so sure. The packaging is super cute though.

This look with that palette turned out better!

I tried with my hair, it was going to be "bangs" this day no matter what I wanted.

This version of the My Little Pony palette is the best I believe.

One of the many attempts with this thing.

Another try below.

No idea which one I used here?? Oops!

The Minnie Mouse black is in fact dark.
Hair here is doing what I like to call THE WAVE.

Makeup Revolution attempt 1903248203.

The white mascara is a primer, I was curious to see what it looked like on it's own. Do not recommend.

I like BH Cosmetics, such fun, bold brights, these pics don't do it justice I didn't have my normal lighting.

Double wave going on here.

Attempted an all drug store face, realized I don't have enough for a full face..

Told ya they were bright. Not what I was going for, but got a little heavy handed, and am too lazy to start over.

I wore this look to the doctor's and got sooooo many compliments on my eyeshadow that day.

What would you do with the Makeup Revolution palette? How do you feel about the brand? Anything new I should try (from any brand)? What are you're favorites right now?
Let me know in the comments below.

Have a great day,
Craftin' Wife
