What I'm Working On (Crafty)

 Hey Y'all!

I've been busy lately, getting things ready for the store, and gearing up for Christmas! (I currently have a beauty related giveaway running, details in the previous blog.)

I'm going to start with the store items I've finished so far:

I'm starting with low inventory on purpose, I'm doing up one shirt in each design sizes S-XL. I plan to post a sign with my contact info for custom orders, or different sizing, etc.

I realized I had ran out of black HTV, no idea when I'd used it up, but I didn't want to wait to get started.. We'll see if she moves in pink, it's the color I had the most of. (I have since ordered black.)

The pictures really don't do this justice, it's so pretty in person.

These are the other shirt designs I'm thinking about. I'll rotate inventory frequently.

Decals:
I made 3 of each decal design to start. I've not started the mugs yet, but planning on just one each of those.

I also haven't done my tags and business cards yet, that's the plan for this week, finishing everything up! Set up is this Saturday!! I did get everything I need for my display, so at least that's ready to go.

Orders I did this past month:

This was for my nephew, and it was the first time I'd worked with infusible ink. It's different, but much easier than I had anticipated.

Water bottle.

Can't remember if I had shared these yet or not:

Go Cougars!

Personal stuff:
Hubby's Shirt, front.
...and back.

My Halloweentown Shirt.

I have a baby shower gift I made for a friend who's having twins, but it's personalized with their names, and she hasn't shared that yet. So on the off chance someone sees this blog that knows us both and puts two and two together, I'm not going to share those yet.

Other Stuff:

My photo was used for the promo on a FB Group. Not huge news, but it was cool to get the shout out.

My Christmas Wish List & A Giveaway!!

 Hey Y'all!

Are you a Christmas/Holiday fan too? Have you started shopping yet? We are almost done, just have an item to pick up from Sam's Club for my nephew. We always try to be done on Black Friday, how about you?

Giveaway is posted at the bottom!

I decided to do a top ten Wish List, 5 beauty items, and 5 craft items! Let me know in the comments below if any of these are on your list!

Beauty:

1)

I am a sucker for cute packaging, and how cute is this Colourpop Rudolph Collection! I especially like the little lip trio, and the highlight!

2)

I always like the Too Faced Holiday Collections, and this years is pretty cute too, although similar to previous years. That teal-ish shade really looks nice, and the whole yellow palette really is calling my name.

3)

This I received in an Influenster box, and fell in love with! My Dior Serum is getting close to empty, so it had to go on the list!

4)

I like Supergoop because it outlasts other sunscreens, doesn't have a scent, and isn't greasy feeling on the skin. All my sunscreens are half full or less, so this got added to the list!

5)

I am an affiliate with IBY (inspired by you), and really wish the best for this small brand, I hope to see it grow in the future. I really like their highlight products, they are easy to blend, and just the right amount of shimmer. I also have my eye on this palette. If your going to shop the brand, use this coupon code: CraftinWife25 for 25% off your order!

Anything I posted on your list too? What would you have added?

Crafty 5:

1)

My favorite place to get vinyl! Craftables has great prices, hard to find vinyl, and phenomenal customer service. I'd like pretty much anything from their website, even if I have it it'll get used!

2)

I'd love an upgrade (from the Cricut Explore One) to the Cricut Maker, but really anything Cricut related is on my list! (Except the weeding tool, I have several.)

3)

It seems an odd thing to put on my wish list, but anything craft related is totally my jam. If I can save some money, then I have 2 options 1) pass the savings to my customers, or 2) make a few extra dollars! I could use pretty much anything on the bulk apparel site, but I mostly use the Gildan Tees.

4)

I'd love to upgrade my Silhouette Software to the Business Edition, currently I'm using the Basic. I'm new to Silhouette so I'm still learning all of it's possibilities. (I have a Silhouette Cameo 1, which I purchased used on FB Marketplace. I eventually want to start using the software to create my own stuff more freely than Cricut allows.)

5)

I'm an affiliate with LoveSVG, and can't even begin to tell you how many freebies they're offering DAILY! I don't have any of the bundles yet, but I know they are easy to work with, and edit. All their SVG's are crisp, clear images.  Use code: NTVIRHFAWF for 20% off if your going to shop!

Craft Room Clean-Up/ Updated Room Tour

 Hey Y'all!

The craft room was a mess, and really needed cleaned up, and some organization.

Here's the before:

New printer in the floor. Can't wait until hubby takes this other one out of here, and to his office.

There's my Cricut prize on the floor, needed to reorganize all the vinyl so it got put there for the time being.
This wood table got replaced with this rolling table, at a much better height for working from. The little wood table is going to be part of my display for the store.

This space is always a mess..

After:

I had to start with vinyl organization, and blank storage. We found this toy box at a local thrift store for a couple dollars, and it's prefect for blanks and work in progress type items.
Bags and Oven mitts on the top shelf, then a baby shower gift (twins!!) I'm working on under that. There's still open space here, so that's nice.

Look, floor! The overflow, and open pack vinyl sits on the rolling cart. Transfer tape, infusible ink, scrap bins, and "odd" vinyl (dry erase, chalkboard, etc.)  are in the office file organizer on top of the drawers by the door. The baskets/tubs that were by my desk are now on top of the book shelf across the room.

Nothing changed here really, Hubby still hasn't moved that printer.

Vinyl! All the adhesive vinyl is in this drawer, and the overflow is on a shelf of the lilac rolling cart.

More vinyl! This drawer is HTV, the overflow is in the sterilite drawers by the door (it takes up one drawer).

All shirts!

This drawer is mugs, wine glasses, tumblers, etc.

Sheets of vinyl, and the Cricut kits.

So much more organized! So far it's working out well, and I'm loving the center island piece.

Bonus, What it looks like right now:
Working on stuff for the store. This mom bun skeleton is super popular, but the bun portion is a PITA to weed.
Prep station is a mess right now. Getting ready to clean it up to make it my press prep station next!

What's your space look like? Let me know in the comments below, or tag me on social media!

Have a great day,

Makeup Declutter Part 2 (of 2)

Hey Y'all!

I decided to go ahead and do videos again this time, it seemed to go over fairly well, and it's easier to see every single product if that interests you. I probably will only do video(s) in the future for this type of blog where it's easier to show a multitude of product more quickly than pictures would be.

Today's videos are all around the 3min mark, and there are five in total. The first is my Drug Store Eyeshadow Palette drawer, and the rest are lip products.

I know it looks like some of these are in the wrong color bin, but when I swatched them all to my skin tone last year I put them in the category that fit for me.

I know, not a lot got decluttered here, but I had just gone through everything, with swatches, less than a year ago.

Here's what I kept:

Huge leaning tower of eyeshadows!

Reds!
Nudes!
Pinks!
Purples & "Other"!

All organized and ready to put away:

I still have a lot of nude lipsticks, but I think I did well everywhere else. They all fit, so I'm happy!

Here's what I decluttered:

Not much got decluttered in the eyeshadow. The Stila palette is good quality, I just never reach for it. The Raye Raye BH Cosmetics palette is another I don't go for, it's almost rainbow, but not enough for me to bother with. The LA Colors just doesn't have the staying power for me to keep trying. (Yellow is hard to get right, and I'm still on the search for a good yellow. If you have any suggestions leave them below!)

The NYX and Urban Decay are both getting too old, so they all got trashed. I love the NYX formula, and the colors. They're a great price point too. The Urban Decay are good, but they dried out fast, and are priced a bit high for the quality. The others here just don't suit me.

I never bother with lip liner, so these were easy to declutter, the Buxom is getting kind of old and I never reach for the Smashbox.

I have learned through this that Lorac is very hit and miss. (How are they still around?) This is one I may have worn twice, so I'm going to pass it along to a family member who may like it.

All of these were just starting to get a bit old.
