Hey Y'all!
Sorry there hasn't been any blogs this week. I've been sick, fairly certain it's just a cold, and pretty much just kept the couch company all week. Today I finally don't have a headache, so I decided I'd type up a quick blog.
Eventually I'll work in the blogs that were missed, but today I wanted to share all the photos from our camping trip (Halloween weekend) at Hungry Mother.
We had a lot of fun with the kids. We walked tons of trails, played on the beach, went into town & got some ice cream, listened to a campfire story, and did the Halloween trail. So proud of my nephew for doing it! (He's not a fan of spooky stuff IRL, so we walked it before hand {pictures below} so that he knew a lot of the spooky zones beforehand. There were live actors in each zone, but this helped him know what to expect, plus we held hands the whole way and I loved every second of it, cause generally they're too old for that now.)

Our camp spot. #3 in the Royal Oak Campground if your interested. I liked the privacy of this campground within the park better, but it's far more steep and doesn't have electric or water like Creekside. It is $10 per night cheaper to reflect that.On our last day we were the only ones in the park.. okay just the only ones in this campground, but it definitely felt like we were alone out there. Very peaceful!
We wondered what this building was in it's hey day. Bubbles (Sis' family dog) wondered more closely. They came to get the nephew, 2 nights/3days was his limit. We explored this area that day, then after they left (niece stayed) we started a fire, ate, colored/drew/read, then it started raining, so we went in the tent and started the movie on the laptop a bit early, it died at the last 5min so we finished the movie in the bath house.
Have a great day,
Craftin' Wife
