Hey Y'all!
It's past time I cleaned my dirty makeup brushes, so follow along as I do that, and declutter a few.
Before:
My Brush storage area. Clean brushes are separated, face & eye, in these planter from TJ Maxx. The Dollar Tree Paintbrush/Marker holder works well for dirty brushes. The skincare I'm currently using is in this thrifted glass vase.Cleanser is from Ulta, I'm not brand loyal so if you know of a good one let me know in the comments below. Mine's almost empty.
The brand of the scrubber and makeup remover towels (pack of 3) I don't remember, but I bought them at either Ross or TJ Maxx for less than $5 each.
CLEANING:
I wasn't surprised at how dirty that foundation (powder) brush was, but it was still kind of shocking to see how full of makeup it was.
All my brushes, not including the just washed (drying on the counter):
I didn't have many to declutter, just this eyelash curler I never use, an old spoolie, and a couple e.l.f. brushes I have duplicates in other brands.
I really like all these brushes but felt like I needed to get rid of at least one. I never reach for this one, it's almost too soft.
What are some of your favorite brushes? Let me know in the comment section!
Have a great day,
Craftin' Wife
