Beauty Empties + The Honest Tea

๐Ÿ’„ Beauty Empties + The Honest Tea ☕✨

Hey hey, beauties ๐Ÿ’‹
Pull up a chair, grab your coffee (or let’s be real… reheated coffee from this morning), because today we’re doing something very satisfying:

We’re talking empties.
Not the cute kind. Not the “I might buy this again because the bottle was pretty” kind.

Nope.
We’re talking used-it-up, lived-through-it, have-thoughts-about-it empties. ๐Ÿงด๐Ÿ—‘️

And yes… I have opinions.

๐Ÿ’„ The Mascara Situation: CoverGirl (All of Them… Basically)

Let’s just call this what it is—an era.

CoverGirl mascaras have been in my makeup bag more times than I can count. Different tubes, different names, same general storyline:

✨ Looks promising
✨ Works great at first
✨ Slowly becomes “why are my lashes doing that?”

You know the moment—when your mascara stops enhancing and starts negotiating with gravity.

Would I repurchase?
Honestly… no. We’ve closed that chapter. ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’จ

๐Ÿงด Moisturizer Drama: Dove

Now THIS one surprised me.

Dove usually gives soft, gentle, dependable energy. Like a cozy blanket in skincare form.

But on my face? It was giving more of a “hello, I am lightly coated and mildly confused” situation.

Not oily. Not glowing. Just… sitting there. Awkwardly.

Would I repurchase?
Nope. We tried it, we respected it, we moved on. ๐Ÿ’”

๐Ÿ’‹ Lip Gloss Flashback: LORAC

First question:
Do they even still make these? Because this gloss felt like I found it in a makeup drawer from 2014.

Pretty color? Absolutely.
Shine? Yes.
Stickiness level? Let’s just say my hair filed a restraining order. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Would I repurchase?
Only if I’m suddenly transported back to peak beauty YouTube era.

๐Ÿง–‍♀️ Face Masks: Anything BUT Peel-Off

Let me be extremely clear here:

๐Ÿšซ Peel-off masks are cancelled. Permanently. Forever. No appeals.

We are not peeling off skincare like it’s a home improvement project gone wrong. We are not questioning our life choices in the mirror at 11:47 PM.

However—

✔ Hydrating masks? Yes please
✔ Clay masks? Respectable
✔ Gel masks? Luxurious behavior

Just… no peeling. We’ve suffered enough. ๐Ÿ˜Œ

☕ The Honest Tea Moment

Here’s the truth nobody puts on the packaging:

Not every product is bad.
But not every product is for you.

And honestly? That’s where the real glow-up happens—figuring out what actually works instead of chasing whatever is trending, viral, or sitting in a “Top 10 Must-Haves” video.

Because pretty packaging will absolutely lie to you. ๐Ÿ’…

And your bathroom trash can will always tell the truth.

๐Ÿงผ Final Thoughts from the Vanity Frontline

Empties are kind of like little receipts from your beauty routine.

Some say: “Yes, buy again immediately.”
Some say: “What were you thinking?”
And some say: “Let’s never speak of this again.”

Either way, we learn. We declutter. We move forward with better products—and slightly less regret.

And honestly? That’s the real beauty routine. ✨

๐Ÿ’• Until Next Time…

Stay moisturized (with something that actually works), stay skeptical in the beauty aisle, and remember:

If it feels like it’s overcomplicating your routine…
it probably doesn’t deserve a spot on your vanity. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Florals Without the Fuss: How To Get That Spring Decor Look

๐ŸŒธ Florals Without the Fuss (No Overcomplicated Nonsense Here)

Listen… I love a good floral moment just as much as the next crafty queen—but if I need 47 specialty tools, a glue gun that could double as a weapon, and a full emotional support system just to make it happen? I’m out. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So today we’re keeping things simple, cute, and most importantly—doable without losing your sanity.

Because florals should feel fun… not like a full-time job.

๐ŸŒผ The Vibe: Effortless & Pretty

This is for my girls who want that soft, floral aesthetic without:

  • Hand-painting 200 petals
  • Wiring individual stems like we’re in a florist apprenticeship
  • Spending $80 at a craft store for one project

We are working smarter, not harder.

๐ŸŒธ Option 1: Faux Floral Mason Jar (AKA The “I Tried” Look That Still Slays)

What you need:

  • A mason jar (or literally any jar you’ve got lying around)
  • Faux flowers (Dollar Tree is your bestie here)
  • Twine, ribbon, or… nothing if we’re being honest
  • Optional: paint if you’re feeling ✨extra✨

What you do:

  1. Toss your flowers in the jar.
  2. Adjust until it looks “casually cute.”
  3. Wrap twine or ribbon around the top if you feel like it.

Done. That’s it. That’s the craft.

Pro Tip: Mix 2–3 flower types max. We’re not building a botanical garden here.

๐ŸŒผ Option 2: Floral Wall Hoop (Minimal Effort, Maximum Pinterest Energy)

What you need:

  • Embroidery hoop or a simple ring
  • Faux greenery/flowers
  • Hot glue or floral wire

What you do:

  1. Attach greenery around half the hoop (yes, HALF—this is why it’s easy ๐Ÿ˜).
  2. Add a couple of flowers for color.
  3. Hang it up and pretend you spent hours on it.

Boom. Instant aesthetic.

๐ŸŒธ Option 3: Floral Tray Glow-Up

Got a boring tray? Not anymore.

What you need:

  • Any tray (wood, plastic, thrifted… we don’t judge)
  • Faux flowers or floral napkins
  • Mod Podge or glue

What you do:

  1. Arrange your florals or napkin design.
  2. Glue it down.
  3. Seal it if you want to be fancy.

Now you’ve got a tray that says “I have my life together” (even if you absolutely do not—and that’s okay).

๐ŸŒผ Real Talk Moment

You do not need to overcomplicate creativity to make something beautiful.

Half the stuff online is:

  • Over-edited
  • Overpriced
  • Overwhelming

And we’re just not doing that here.

If it’s cute, makes you smile, and didn’t require a meltdown halfway through? That’s a win.

๐ŸŒธ Final Thoughts

Florals should be:
✔ Fun
✔ Affordable
✔ Actually finishable in one sitting

So grab your supplies, keep it simple, and don’t overthink it.

And if your flowers end up slightly crooked?
Call it ✨intentional✨ and move on.

Stay crafty (but not stressed about it),

Self-Care Night Essentials

Self-Care Night Essentials (you deserve it ๐Ÿ’•)

Alright, besties… we need to talk.

Not about your to-do list.
Not about the laundry staring at you.
Not about that one project you swore you’d finish this week.

We’re talking about YOU. Yep. You. The one who keeps pouring into everyone else’s cup and forgetting to refill your own. ๐Ÿšจ

Tonight? We’re fixing that.

Because self-care isn’t selfish—it’s survival with a cute aesthetic. ๐Ÿ’…✨

๐ŸŒ™ Set the Mood (because vibes matter)

Before you even think about relaxing, you gotta set the scene. We are not doing chaotic, overhead lighting self-care. Absolutely not.

  • Soft lighting (lamps, fairy lights, candles if you’re feelin’ fancy ๐Ÿ•ฏ️)
  • Your coziest blanket or oversized hoodie
  • A comfort show, playlist, or audiobook (bonus points for true crime or cozy vibes ๐Ÿ‘€)

This is your official permission slip to romanticize your life for the next few hours.

๐Ÿ› The “Wash Away the Day” Moment

Whether you’re a bath girlie or a quick shower queen, this step is non-negotiable.

  • A good-smelling body wash or bath soak
  • Exfoliating scrub (goodbye stress, hello soft skin)
  • Shampoo/conditioner that makes you feel like you have your life together

Pro tip: stand there an extra minute and just… exist. No thinking. No planning. Just vibes.

๐Ÿ’„ Skincare = Therapy (fight me)

Listen, I don’t care if it’s a 3-step routine or a full 12-step K-beauty moment—this is your time.

Essentials:

  • Cleanser (wash the day and the drama away)
  • Face mask (sheet, clay, peel-off… dealer’s choice)
  • Moisturizer (because we are not out here being crusty ๐Ÿ’‍♀️)

Optional but ✨extra✨:

  • Eye patches
  • Facial roller
  • Lip mask

You don’t need perfection—you just need consistency and a little love for your skin.

๐Ÿต Snacks & Sips (because obviously)

You cannot self-care on an empty stomach. That’s just science.

  • Herbal tea, hot cocoa, or your emotional support iced coffee
  • A sweet treat (chocolate = therapy, I don’t make the rules)
  • Something salty if you’re that girl

Balance. Wellness. Snacks. We love to see it.

๐ŸŽจ Do Something That Fills Your Cup

This is where you reconnect with you.

Ideas:

  • Craft something (duh ๐Ÿ˜‰)
  • Journal your thoughts
  • Read a few chapters of that book you keep ignoring
  • Paint your nails or play with makeup
  • Scroll Pinterest and pretend you’re redecorating your entire life

No pressure to be productive—just present.

๐Ÿ“ต The “Unplug” Challenge (I dare you)

Okay, this one’s tough. I know.

But try putting your phone down for even 30 minutes.
No notifications. No doom scrolling. No comparing your life to strangers on the internet.

Just you, your cozy space, and your peace.

Groundbreaking, honestly.

๐Ÿ’– The Real Talk Moment

Self-care isn’t always face masks and fluffy socks.

Sometimes it’s:

  • Saying no
  • Setting boundaries
  • Letting yourself rest without guilt
  • Admitting you’re tired

And tonight? Rest is the goal. Not perfection. Not productivity. Just… rest.

✨ Your Self-Care Starter Pack

If you’re building your perfect night, here’s your quick checklist:

✔ Cozy clothes
✔ Soft lighting
✔ Something that smells amazing
✔ Skincare faves
✔ Snacks & drink
✔ A relaxing activity
✔ A little bit of “leave me alone” energy

You don’t need a special occasion.
You don’t need permission.

You just need to decide that you’re worth the time. ๐Ÿ’•

Now go run that bath, grab your snacks, and ignore the world for a bit.

You’ve earned it.

Upcycle Something Old into Something Cute

Upcycle Something Old into Something Cute ♻️✨

(Bus Life Edition, obviously)

Alright friends… today’s project is for anyone living in a small space where “storage” is just a polite word for “whatever doesn’t fall on the floor when we brake too hard.”

So yes—this one is brought to you by Wildebeest, our 1990 Ford E350 shuttle bus conversion, where every item either earns its keep or gets side-eyed into reinvention. ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Because in 22 feet of rolling home, nothing just sits around looking “vintage.” It either becomes useful, becomes cute, or becomes a hazard.

Let’s upgrade something.

♻️ Upcycling Hits Different in Bus Life

Upcycling isn’t just a cute craft trend out here—it’s survival with glitter on it.

There’s no “junk drawer.” There’s just:

  • The cabinet that won’t stay shut if we hit a pothole
  • The tote that’s definitely over capacity
  • That one item that has traveled 3 states and still hasn’t been used but might be important someday

Today? We’re finally giving one of those items a purpose.

Preferably a cute one.

๐Ÿงฐ Today’s Project: “Tiny Space, Big Cute Energy Tray”

We’re turning something old into a decorative tray or catch-all that actually pulls its weight in a small space.

Think:

  • A tired frame that’s been sliding around in storage
  • A thrifted piece that’s been along for the ride too long
  • A random flat surface object that’s currently just… existing aggressively

We’re upgrading it into something that helps organize bus chaos and looks cute doing it.

Because yes, we can have both. Sometimes.

✨ What You’ll Need (What You Can Actually Fit)

  • Old frame / tray / flat surface item (no judgment, we all have one)
  • Paint or spray paint
  • Hot glue gun (held onto like your emotional support tool ๐Ÿ”ฅ)
  • Scrapbook paper, fabric, or vinyl scraps
  • Optional: Cricut Joy if you’ve got it stored somewhere that doesn’t require moving three things to access it
  • Sealer (only if you’re feeling extra or tired of things sliding during turns)

๐ŸŽจ Let’s Make Something Cute (On a Moving Floor Plan)

1. Find Your Workspace

Translation: clear off whatever surface is currently not being used as a table, storage, or charging station.

Bonus points if nothing rolls away mid-project.

2. Clean It Up

Wipe it down and remove whatever “bus dust” or mystery residue has accumulated from life on the road.

You know the kind. It’s… everywhere. We don’t ask questions.

3. Paint That Thing

Pick your vibe:

  • Soft neutrals for “I pretend I’m organized” energy
  • Bright colors for “you can’t miss my personality” energy
  • Pastels for “yes I craft in a tiny space but make it cute” energy

Let it dry somewhere it won’t be accidentally nudged, bumped, or used as a temporary shelf.

So… good luck.

4. Add the Cute Layer

Line the inside or surface with:

  • Scrapbook paper
  • Fabric
  • Vinyl pieces you swore you’d use eventually (today is eventually)

If you’ve got a Cricut Joy tucked into your mobile craft setup, now’s the time for a phrase like:

  • “Stay Awhile”
  • “Small Space, Big Chaos”
  • “Bus Life & Craft Nights”
  • Or the honest truth: “I made this to contain my clutter”

5. Seal & Survive the Ride

Optional sealing step, depending on how aggressively your next road trip is going to test your craftsmanship.

Because nothing says “real craft review” like a tray that survives a sharp turn.

๐Ÿ’ก Bus Life Pro Tip

In a 22ft shuttle bus conversion, every item has to earn its space.

If it doesn’t:

  • Organize something
  • Store something
  • Or look cute enough to justify existing

…it’s basically just taking up very expensive real estate.

Upcycling solves that problem real fast.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Final Thoughts

Living in a tiny rolling home changes how you see “old stuff.”

It stops being clutter and starts being potential.

And honestly? That’s kind of the magic of it. You learn quickly that you don’t need more space—you just need better use of the space you’ve got (and maybe fewer things that only exist to roll off counters during turns).

So today’s mission is simple:

Take something that’s been riding around with you for no reason… and give it a job. Preferably a cute one.

Now go make something adorable—and make sure it won’t slide off the counter when Chris hits a curve too fast. ๐Ÿ˜Œ♻️

Until next time, stay crafty, stay scrappy, and may all your supplies stay put during highway travel.

Craft Space Check-In

Craft Space Check-In (send help… or storage ideas ๐Ÿ˜…)

Okay. We need to talk.

Because crafting in a full-time RV (aka Wildebeest, my beloved 1990 shuttle bus conversion) means one thing:

There is no “craft room.”

There is only… craft everywhere.

And somehow, it still multiplies.

๐Ÿงต The Current Situation (Wildebeest Edition)

Let me set the scene inside our rolling craft studio:

  • A “temporary” project bin that is currently just… a permanent lifestyle choice.
  • Vinyl rolls doing that thing where they slowly unroll themselves like they’re escaping.
  • Ribbon absolutely thriving in places ribbon should never be.
  • One crafting table that is also a dining table, editing desk, and emotional support surface.
  • A Cricut that I swear takes up more space emotionally than physically.
  • Supplies stored in “zones,” aka: wherever they last survived a turn while driving.

And the kicker?

Everything shifts when we drive. So organization is basically a myth we all agreed to pretend exists.

๐Ÿš RV Crafting Reality Check

People say:

“Small space living keeps you organized!”

Sure. In theory.

In practice, it means:

  • You clean one section and the rest migrates like wildlife.
  • You open a cabinet and something falls out like it was waiting for its moment.
  • You swear you only own two glue guns but somehow keep finding more.
  • Every flat surface is a craft surface whether you intended it or not.

Wildebeest is cute. Wildebeest is functional.
Wildebeest is also 40% craft supplies at this point.

๐Ÿ˜… The Denial Phase (RV Version)

I keep telling myself:

“It’s fine. Everything has a place.”

And technically, yes. It does.

That place just might be:

  • Under a seat
  • Behind a bin
  • Inside a bin I forgot I labeled
  • Or spiritually located in “the mystery compartment”

Chris walked in the other day, looked around, and said:

“If we hit a bump, are we going to die under scrapbook paper?”

Valid question. No further comments.

๐Ÿงบ Storage Ideas I Keep Pretending I’ll Execute

I’ve been deep-diving RV craft storage like it’s my part-time job:

  • Stackable bins that promise not to shift while driving (bold claim).
  • Under-bench storage systems I will absolutely overfill immediately.
  • Hanging organizers for “lightweight supplies only” (lol).
  • Magnetic strips for tools I will 100% forget to put back.
  • A rolling cart that becomes a permanent passenger.

Also considering labeling everything…
which requires sitting still long enough to finish one label before starting five new projects.

So… we’ll see.

✨ Small Wins Inside a Moving Craft Closet

To be fair, Wildebeest isn’t pure chaos:

  • I did consolidate three ribbon disasters into one semi-controlled bin.
  • Found all my Cricut mats in the same place (a miracle, honestly).
  • Only had one “where did I put the scissors?” meltdown this week.
  • Managed to craft AND eat lunch without losing a glue stick in my food (progress).

We are evolving. Slowly. Like a very crafty turtle in a tin can.

๐Ÿง  Real Talk (RV Edition)

Here’s the truth:

Full-time RV crafting is not about perfection.

It’s about:

  • Being able to create even when your “studio” turns a corner.
  • Accepting that storage is a suggestion, not a guarantee.
  • Making peace with the fact that glitter will never fully be contained.
  • And choosing creativity anyway, even when your supplies are doing parkour in transit.

Wildebeest is small.
But she holds a lot of life in her walls.

And apparently… a suspicious amount of vinyl.

๐Ÿ’ฌ This Week’s Question:

RV crafters, be honest:

Do your supplies stay organized while traveling?

Or do they also shift around like they’re trying to leave the vehicle?

(Asking for me. And also for Wildebeest. She deserves answers.)

๐Ÿงก Sign Off

Anyway, I’m off to “reorganize” my craft space again, which in RV language means:
moving three bins, discovering new supplies I forgot I owned, and giving up halfway through to start a new project.

Send storage ideas. Or snacks. Or a bigger bus.

Until next time—stay crafty, stay rolling, and if you hear something clunking in Wildebeest… it’s probably just my ribbon collection staging a coup.

— Amanda ✂️๐Ÿš✨

“No Makeup” Makeup Look

“No Makeup” Makeup Look (aka we tried, but chill)

Okay listen… today’s vibe is effortless beauty, also known as: “I absolutely did not spend 45 minutes blending for people to think I woke up like this.” ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’…

This week’s beauty feature is all about the No Makeup Makeup Look—the holy grail of looking put together while secretly wearing enough product to qualify as “definitely tried, just quietly.”

๐Ÿ’– The Goal:

Skin that looks like skin
Lashes that whisper “I’m awake”
Brows that behave (for once)
And vibes that say: I drink water and mind my business

๐Ÿ’„ The Reality:
A little concealer here, a little blend there, and suddenly we’re questioning if we should’ve just done full glam anyway ๐Ÿ˜‚

But honestly? That’s the beauty of this look. It’s forgiving, flexible, and perfect for days when you want to feel cute without entering a full-time commitment with your makeup bag.

✨ Quick Tips for the “I Woke Up Like This (Lies)” Look:

  • Lightweight base or tinted moisturizer = your best friend

  • Cream blush for that “I just took a brisk walk to nowhere” glow

  • Brow gel (a little chaos is fine, we’re calling it “natural”)

  • Mascara, but only enough to say “hi I exist”

  • Lip tint or balm so it looks like hydration is part of your personality ๐Ÿ’‹

And remember: if it takes longer than 10 minutes, we are officially leaving the “no makeup” category and entering “soft glam denial” territory.

Would I wear this every day? Yes.
Do I still occasionally forget and show up looking like I contour for sport? Also yes. ๐Ÿ˜…

Either way—this is your reminder that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated to be fun.

Drugstore Favorites

Drugstore Favorites I’m Actually Loving ๐Ÿ’„✨

Hey, crafty friends! ๐Ÿ‘‹ So, we all know the drugstore aisle can be a wild ride… sometimes you hit gold, sometimes you walk away wondering why you even tried. ๐Ÿ˜… But lately, I’ve been testing a few new goodies, and y’all—I’m here to spill the tea because some of these are absolute winners. ๐Ÿ†

1. Mascara That Actually Holds a Curl – Wet ‘n Wild Big Poppa ๐Ÿ˜

I’ve tried a bazillion mascaras that promise “all-day curl and volume” and end up giving me spider lashes instead. ๐Ÿ•ท️ But Big Poppa? Game changer. My lashes look lifted, full, and natural-ish without the clumps. Bonus: it doesn’t flake on me by lunchtime. ๐Ÿ™Œ

2. Foundation That Doesn’t Make Me Feel Like a Cake – E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer ๐Ÿฐ

Full disclosure: I hate feeling like my face is baking in makeup. This tinted moisturizer gives me light coverage that feels like nothing at all—perfect for work, errands, or, you know, crafting marathons. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’‍♀️

3. Lipstick That Survives Snacks – ColourPop Glowing Lip ๐Ÿ’‹

Raise your hand if you’ve kissed your drink goodbye because your lipstick ran off at first sip. ๐Ÿ™‹‍♀️ Not with this one. It’s creamy, pigmented, and only needs a little touch-up after, say, a burrito. ๐ŸŒฏ

4. Affordable Face Masks That Actually Work – Dollar Tree Picks ๐Ÿง–‍♀️

Self-care doesn’t have to break the bank! These masks hydrate, brighten, and make me feel like a spa queen without emptying my wallet. And yes, I did take a selfie with the sheet mask on. Don’t judge. ๐Ÿ˜‚

5. Eyeshadow Palettes That Don’t Suck – Profusion Cosmetics ๐ŸŽจ

Drugstore eyeshadow? Usually a gamble. These palettes? Not only do the colors pop, but they blend like a dream. Perfect for a soft daytime look or a bold night-out glam. ✨

๐Ÿ’– Final Thoughts:
Honestly, I love finding gems that don’t cost an arm and a leg. These picks have become my go-to staples, and I genuinely reach for them almost daily.

Have you tried any new drugstore favorites lately? Drop them in the comments—I’m always looking for more affordable treasures! ๐Ÿ’Œ

Stay crafty & fabulous,

Budget-Friendly Craft Haul + Mini Projects

Budget-Friendly Craft Haul + Mini Projects (because we love a deal ๐Ÿ’…)

Hey crafty friends! ✨

If there’s one thing I love as much as glitter (but slightly more responsibly… no loose glitter disasters here ๐Ÿ˜…), it’s scoring amazing craft finds without emptying my wallet. So today, I’m giving you a peek at my latest budget-friendly craft haul AND showing you a few mini projects that you can whip up in no time. Because let’s be real—crafting is way more fun when your bank account isn’t crying. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’ธ

The Haul: What I Snagged

I hit up a couple of my favorite spots—Dollar Tree, Michaels & Hobby Lobby clearance, and Target’s dollar spot—and here’s what made it into my stash:

  • Foam sheets & sticker packs – $1 each at Dollar Tree. Perfect for quick card making or small embellishments.
  • Mini canvas boards – 4 for $5 on clearance. They scream “mini art gallery” vibes.
  • Acrylic paint sets – Under $10! I love having a rainbow on hand for tiny projects.
  • Washi tape bundles – Michaels clearance section, $2 each. These are the ultimate scrapbookers’ dream.
  • Crafty charms & buttons – Dollar spot magic ✨. I snagged a bunch for DIY jewelry or scrapbooking accents.

Total haul cost? Around $25. Yep, I’m basically a bargain ninja. ๐Ÿฅท๐Ÿ’–

Mini Projects You Can Try

1. DIY Button Earrings ๐ŸŽจ

Take a couple of those cute buttons, glue them to earring posts, and bam! Instant statement accessory. I paired mine with some leftover beads, and now I have a full set that cost less than a latte.

2. Mini Canvas Wall Trio ๐Ÿ–ผ

Grab your mini canvases, slap on some acrylic paints, and make a little themed set—florals, abstracts, or even a tiny quote. Arrange them on a shelf, and you’ve got gallery vibes without the gallery price.

3. Washi Tape Notebook Makeover ✏️

Plain notebook? No problem. Wrap it in your favorite washi tape patterns and add some sticker flair. It’s perfect for a budget-friendly planner, journal, or gift!

4. Foam Sheet Magnets ๐Ÿ’•

Cut fun shapes out of your foam sheets, glue on a magnet, and suddenly your fridge is an adorable DIY gallery. Bonus points if you make seasonal shapes—hello, spring flowers! ๐ŸŒธ

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Don’t be afraid to mix and match clearance finds. A little creativity + a little glue = a ton of cute craft magic.

That’s it for today, loves! Now it’s your turn—hit up your favorite bargain spots, grab some goodies, and make something that makes YOU happy. Remember, crafting doesn’t have to break the bank; it just has to spark joy. ✨

Stay crafty & sassy,
Amanda ๐Ÿ’…

Travel Talk: Small-Town Gems

Travel Talk: Small-Town Gems I’m Obsessed With & Can't Wait To Visit ✨๐Ÿ˜️

Hey loves! ๐Ÿ’– Amanda here, your glitter-free craft queen and resident small-town enthusiast. Today, I’m spilling the tea on a few real-life towns that have completely stolen my heart. I can't wait to visit them all.

Tiny streets, quirky shops, and just the right amount of “hidden gem” magic—these spots are seriously worth the road trip! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’จ

1. Galena, Illinois ๐Ÿก

Galena is basically a time machine back to charming 19th-century streets. Cobblestone sidewalks, boutique shops, and cafรฉs that make you want to linger forever—yes, I may have dreamt I spent an hour just sniffing candles.

Don’t miss the historic homes tour; it’s full of quirky little details that’ll make your inner decorator swoon.

2. Leavenworth, Washington ๐ŸŒฒ

This Bavarian-style village is a feast for the eyes and the soul. Picture alpine architecture, local bakeries with pastries that should be illegal, and more photo ops than your camera can handle.

๐ŸŽ„ Tip: Visit during the summer for outdoor adventures or in winter for magical holiday lights that make it feel like a snow globe.

3. Paducah, Kentucky ๐Ÿ–ผ️

Art lovers, listen up! Paducah is a colorful riverside town with a vibrant arts scene. Their Lower Town Arts District is full of murals, studios, and galleries that’ll make you feel like you just stepped into Pinterest IRL.

Pro tip: Wear comfy shoes—you’ll want to wander every street and maybe grab a quirky souvenir or two.

4. Saugatuck, Michigan ๐ŸŒŠ

This lakeside town is chef’s kiss perfection. Cute shops, art galleries, and adorable cafรฉs line the streets, and the beaches? Absolutely dreamy.

I heard locals recommend a sunset stroll along Oval Beach—it’s basically a peace-and-glitter-free zone, which is exactly how I like it.

Small Town, Big Heart ๐Ÿ’•

What I love most about these places isn’t just their charm—it’s the personality. Friendly shopkeepers, colorful streets, and a slower pace that makes you feel like you actually belong.

So pack a cute bag, grab your camera, and hit the road—these small-town gems are waiting for you! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ“ธ

Catch you on the road, sparkly friends!

Life Lately: Where I’ve Been

Life Lately: Where I’ve Been (because… yeah ๐Ÿ˜…)

Hey friends! ๐Ÿ‘‹

So… life happened. And by “life happened,” I mean a whirlwind of crafting, reading, way too many late-night Pinterest dives, and honestly… just trying to keep my glitter under control (spoiler: I failed ๐Ÿ˜…).

If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been MIA here on the blog for a minute, grab a cup of coffee (or wine, no judgment ๐Ÿท) and let me spill the tea.

Craft Chaos

First off, crafting has been chaotic but magical. I’ve been hoarding supplies like a glittery squirrel preparing for winter and diving headfirst into new projects. Some are winners… some are “what was I thinking?” But hey, it’s all part of the process, right? ๐Ÿ’–✨

Reading & Escaping

I’ve also been devouring books like a pro. Between travel, work, and random life chaos, escaping into a good story has been my lifeline. I may or may not have a stack of “to-read” books that’s threatening to overtake the couch… again. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ˜…

Life Outside the Blog

Beyond crafting and reading, life has just been… life. Between daily adventures, tackling projects, and catching up on things that don’t fit in a Pinterest aesthetic, I realized that sometimes you just need a little pause to regroup.

So, yeah… that’s why the blog got a little quiet. But don’t worry—your favorite crafty, beauty-loving, glitter-fighting gal is back, refreshed, and ready to share all the chaos and creations with you! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’–

What’s Next?

I’ve got some fun posts coming up: new craft tutorials, beauty experiments that may or may not explode (literally, let’s hope not ๐Ÿ˜ฌ), and some personal “life lately” musings because, well… that’s just part of who I am.

Thanks for sticking around, friends. You’re the reason I keep creating, writing, and sharing—even when life gets a little messy (and glittery).

Catch you soon with more sparkle and sass,
– Amanda ✨๐Ÿ’–

Craftin’ Wife’s Creations: Spring DIY Decor

๐ŸŒธ Craftin’ Wife’s Creations: Spring DIY Decor – Easy, Cute, No Stress Allowed! ๐ŸŒธ

Hey crafty friends! Amanda here, your glitter-free, glue-gun-wielding partner-in-crime, ready to help you freshen up your space this spring without losing your sanity. Because let’s be real… life’s too short for complicated Pinterest fails. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

1. Blooming Mason Jar Vases ๐ŸŒท

All you need: mason jars, some faux flowers (or real if you’re feeling fancy), and a little ribbon. Tie a cute bow, fill with blooms, and voilร  – instant spring vibes. Bonus: these are perfect for your desk, windowsill, or even your RV table if you’re like me.

2. No-Fuss Spring Wreath ๐ŸŒฟ
Grab a foam wreath base, some floral picks, and hot glue (or wire if you’re fancy). Arrange your picks however you like – asymmetry is chic! Hang it on your door and watch neighbors smile… or at least wonder why you’re crafting at 3 PM.

3. Cute Citrus Coasters ๐Ÿ‹
Foam sheets + permanent markers + some mod podge = mini citrus coasters that scream “I have my life together,” even if your laundry pile says otherwise. ๐ŸŠ

4. Easy Peasy Painted Pots ๐Ÿชด
Plain terra-cotta pots? Not for long. Pick your fave spring colors, paint funky patterns, and add a little plant. Herbs, succulents, or fake greenery – all fair game. Instant shelfie-ready dรฉcor!

5. Tabletop Bunny Parade ๐Ÿฐ
Tiny figurines, little floral garlands, and a cute tray = a bunny-themed centerpiece in under 10 minutes. Bonus points for chocolate bunnies (for you, not the display).

Amanda’s Tip: Don’t overthink it. Spring is about light, fresh vibes – not stress, not glitter explosions, not crafting disasters. Keep it simple, keep it fun, and your space will thank you.

Alright, my fellow DIY-ers, that’s your guilt-free spring decor roundup! Go forth, craft a little, sip some coffee, and enjoy your stress-free, cute space.

Anything Goes: Q&A & Community Chat

 ๐ŸŒˆ Friday, March 27 – Anything Goes: Q&A & Community Chat

Happy Friday, friends! ๐ŸŽ‰

It’s that time again—our weekly “anything goes” post where we slow down, chat, and have a little fun together. I didn’t get any actual questions this week (though you know I’m always listening!), so today I thought I’d share some “pretend” questions from readers, along with my answers, plus a peek at what’s coming up here on the blog.

Q: Amanda, what’s your current favorite crafting tool?
Oh, that’s an easy one! Right now, I am obsessed with my new set of blending brushes. They make everything—from paints to powders—blend like a dream. Bonus: zero glitter fallout! ๐Ÿ˜…

Q: Any tips for keeping your crafting space tidy?
Yes, yes, yes! I’ve been using small baskets and clear containers to keep all the little bits organized. And I always have a “quick sweep” rule at the end of each project—just a few minutes, and suddenly the space feels brand new again.

Q: What are you reading right now?
I’m diving into a cozy mystery series that’s so addictive I keep telling myself, just one more chapter… until suddenly it’s 2 a.m. ๐Ÿ“š I love books that let me escape a little while I sip my tea and watch the world go by.

Q: Can you share a sneak peek of upcoming projects?
Absolutely! I’m planning some spring-inspired crafts, with lots of pastel colors and fun textures. And because you all know I hate glitter disasters, there will be plenty of sparkle-free options. Plus, a few beauty experiments I think you’ll enjoy—easy, colorful looks you can pull off in under 15 minutes.

Beyond crafts and beauty, I’ve been thinking about adding some “mini-challenges” for us to do together—quick little creative prompts that anyone can try, even if you’re short on time. I’m really excited about that idea, so stay tuned!

And now… I want to hear from you. Even if it’s just a tiny update, drop a comment below and let me know: what have you been making or trying this week? Any weekend plans or fun little wins to celebrate? Let’s make this Friday chat a little community corner where we can all share and inspire each other. ๐Ÿ’–

Thanks for stopping by, friends. Here’s to a weekend full of creativity, laughter, and maybe a little mess (the fun kind!).

If you want, I can also add some fun “fake reader questions” about bizarre or silly things, to make it even more playful and scroll-stopping. Do you want me to do that?

Sure

Perfect! Let’s sprinkle in some playful, silly “reader questions” to make the post extra fun and scroll-stopping. Here’s a revised, longer version with those added:

๐ŸŒˆ Friday, March 27 – Anything Goes: Q&A & Community Chat

Happy Friday, friends! ๐ŸŽ‰

It’s that time again—our weekly “anything goes” post where we slow down, chat, and have a little fun together. I didn’t get any actual questions this week (though you know I’m always listening!), so today I thought I’d share some imaginary reader questions—the kind you didn’t know you needed—and answer them for fun. Plus, a peek at what’s coming up on the blog!

Q: Amanda, do you ever craft while eating cookies?
Absolutely. In fact, I consider it essential multitasking. ๐Ÿช Some crumbs may escape into the craft supplies, but that’s just adding character, right?

Q: Can a paintbrush double as a magic wand?
Only if you believe hard enough. I’ve tried waving it while chanting “make it pretty!”—results may vary, but my workspace does feel magically happier afterward. ✨

Q: How do you handle glitter… without losing your mind?
Ah, the age-old question. Trick is: I don’t touch loose glitter. Ever. Instead, I stick to glitter sheets, pens, or glitter glue with controlled application. Keeps the floors, hair, and pets blissfully sparkle-free. ๐Ÿ˜…

Q: What’s your ultimate comfort craft snack?
Popcorn. It’s crunchy, salty, and light enough that you can grab a handful between brush strokes or cutting paper. Bonus points if it’s covered in caramel. ๐Ÿฟ

Q: Can you craft and binge-watch at the same time?
Yes, but with rules: choose shows with low dialogue density, keep hands free for glue and scissors, and never, ever attempt glitter while watching a horror series—you’ll regret it.

Q: Any tips for staying inspired when creativity feels stuck?
Step away for a bit, go for a walk, sip some tea, or even just rearrange your crafting space. Sometimes the best ideas sneak in while you’re doing something completely unrelated.

Sneak Peek of Upcoming Projects:

  • Spring-inspired crafts: pastel colors, fun textures, and zero glitter disasters.
  • Quick beauty experiments: easy, colorful looks you can pull off in under 15 minutes.
  • Mini-challenges: tiny creative prompts we can all do together, no matter how busy the week has been.

And now… let’s hear from you. Even if it’s just a tiny update, drop a comment below: what have you been making or trying this week? Any fun weekend plans or small wins to celebrate? Let’s make this Friday chat a little community corner where we can share and inspire each other. ๐Ÿ’–

Beauty Organization in Small Spaces

๐Ÿ’… Wednesday, March 25 – Beauty Organization in Small Spaces

If you’re like me, your makeup collection has a personality of its own—colorful, chaotic, and sometimes completely out of control. But what do you do when your dream vanity room doesn’t exist, and every surface in your home is already full? Fear not! Small spaces don’t mean you have to sacrifice style or accessibility. With a few clever hacks, you can keep your beauty essentials organized, functional, and—most importantly—fun to use.

1. Go Vertical with Tiered Organizers
Stackable trays or tiered shelves are lifesavers when counter space is limited. They allow you to see everything at a glance without spreading your collection across the entire bathroom. Bonus: clear acrylic tiers make it easy to spot your favorite shades quickly, while still keeping your space feeling light and airy.

2. Get Creative with Drawer Inserts
Drawers aren’t just for hiding things—they can be a treasure trove of organized bliss. Shallow boxes, ice cube trays, or purpose-made drawer organizers can separate lipsticks, brushes, eyeshadows, and tools. The key is to categorize by type or frequency of use so that everything has a home and nothing ever gets lost at the bottom.

3. Magnetic Boards for a Chic Display
If you’re feeling crafty, magnetic boards can turn your collection into art. Attach small magnets to the bottoms of your metal makeup containers and stick them on a wall-mounted board. Not only does it save counter space, but it also adds a visually stunning focal point to your room. Perfect for the makeup lover who appreciates both style and functionality!

4. Don’t Forget Over-the-Door Storage
Those overlooked doors are prime real estate for organization. Hanging organizers or clear shoe pockets can hold brushes, palettes, and other tools, keeping them off your counters but still within reach. This is especially useful in apartments or rooms where space is at a premium.

5. Keep Essentials in Portable Caddies
Sometimes, what you need most is flexibility. Small rolling caddies or baskets let you store your everyday items neatly and then tuck them away when you need your space back. They’re also great for taking your beauty routine anywhere in the house—or even outdoors for a little sunlight check on your foundation!

Pro Tip: Keep your daily essentials at eye level and store seasonal or rarely used items out of the way. It makes your routine faster, reduces clutter, and keeps your space looking serene. A little organization goes a long way toward enjoying your collection rather than feeling buried under it.
