Hey Y'all!
I'm going to share my analytics from social media, beginning of April compared to now. Not much change, but I just find analytics interesting, and thought you may too! But first, SMHC is having another Craft Show in September, as well as a chili cookoff. If you're local and would like to enter here are the details:
Onto the analytics!
Twitter:
I was far more active on twitter in the Spring.
Next is Facebook, here I'm going to compare a typical/average Facebook post, a $5 boosted, and a $10 boosted.
This was my first boosted post, in the Spring, with a $5 budget.
Here was a $10 budgeted boost, early Summer:
And this is an average post engagement, with 99 Followers.I probably need to post more often, I really only post to Facebook 3-5 times per week.
My Blog Earnings are next, brace yourself LOL:
I remember when there used to be no minimum payout, and got a few $10 or so payouts back then. Now the payout is $100 minimum, so as you can see here, I'm nowhere near that:
Above was April, below is current.
Lastly are the YouTube analytics:
I find it interesting that on a channel that's all about crafting, and makeup that almost 84% of my views are male. That's awesome!
Have you ever checked out your analytics? What were your thoughts? Share in the comments below!
Business Update:
SMHC continues to do just enough to justify staying, and occasionally it does really well.
I've pretty much completely dropped Etsy, I have one listing currently. I don't know if I'll go back to posting there or not.
Go Imagine is a newer platform, so the traffic is slower, but there's less competition, and they only allow handcrafted items, which is a plus IMO. I'm currently working on Fall/Holiday themed listings for that shop.
I actually do the best on TikTok, and word of mouth.
I have the upcoming show in September, but the October one I was going to do was cancelled. So, beyond September I don't have any planned.
We are offering classes now at Smoky Mountains Handmade Creations, and I'm working out the details for mine.... Stay Tuned!
What type of craft class(es) would you like to attend? What would you expect to pay for a class? Please share in the comments below!
Have a great day,
Craftin' Wife
