How To: No Sew Scrunchies

 Hey Y'all!

Today's How To: New Sew Scrunchies I decided to do in both a video, and pictorial with written instructions. Let me know what works best for you. (I can also do a more in depth how to video if you prefer.)

Let's get to it!

Materials:

Fabric from Crafters Square/Dollar Tree Rotary Cutter Elastic Heat 'n Bond Cricut East Press Mini (iron) Ruler Cutting Mat

*Added material- something to easily get the elastic through your fabric. I used the "stabby" Cricut Weeding Tool. (AKA Piercing Tool)

Finished:

Cute, but I didn't like the raw edge, so I fix that in the pictorial version.

Pictorial:

1) Choose fabric.
2) Measure width you'd like. I chose roughly 5in.

3) Iron fabric smooth.
4) Fold in rough edges, as even as possible. Apply Heat 'n Bond as per instructions. (I no longer have an iron, so I used my Cricut Easy Press Mini, on a 2.)

5) Fold your fabric in half, iron if needed.
Unfold.

6) Add the Heat 'n Bond to the inside (of the folded) outer edge and refold, then iron closed.

7) Feed the elastic through the fabric. I used approximately a 9in piece.

8) Tie your elastic ends together. Double knot it.

Optional 9) Tuck your ends into each other and apply a small piece of Heat 'n Bond to the inside edge, iron closed.

10) Enjoy!
I definitely like the rough edge folded in better than the other.

Would you like to see more? I'm thinking of doing a few with HTV to see how they turn out.

Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great day,
