Our Spring Plans

FUN FRIDAY:

Our Spring plans? Well, they completely changed in the past week. 

Originally our BFFs & their family were coming in early April, but they had (surprise) puppies, and no sitter for that many dogs. Their visit is now tentatively scheduled for August.

The bigger, scarier, news is that my recent CT shows possible recurrence (again) in the lymph nodes. They have me meeting with the main Dr. (my surgeon) this coming Monday. That makes me a bit worried, since typically when this happens (twice before)  I go for a PET scan, and meet with "my" doctor on the team.

So, because of that most of our bigger plans are on hold until we know what's up.

We have done a few day trips- like out to Douglas Lake, just because. We'd like to maybe go to Dollywood this Spring, and take another (possibly camping) trip to Asheville, and really tour around the city this time. Really, any short camping trip sounds great, depending on the weather!

We're hoping to get the basement finished this month, working down there more tomorrow & Sunday. I fell like this goal is totally doable in the next few weekends. After that we'll work on Hubby's office, it definitely needs some help, it's a mess. Then onto yard work, especially the dead limbs in the tree out back, and cleaning out the gutters.

Beyond that, Hubby is doing well in his eBay store, so that's nice. Currently his game development is on hiatus. There are a few craft shows I'm interested in doing this Spring, but awaiting further details before I commit to any. I'm in North East Tennessee so if you know of any good ones let me know!

We also plan to start utilizing the walking trail in town again. We did really well during Covid Shutdowns, when we had nothing but time.  Now? We haven't been in far too long, especially for as nice as our winter has been...
