Cricut Design Space is always changing and evolving! Currently, and this is pure speculation on my part, I think they're gearing up for something BIG product wise. We're seeing less and less Explore Air 2, Maker, or Cricut Joy tools and materials at retailer online and in store. We're also seeing more and more sales on existing machines and product. To me that means something new is coming, but I've not seen anything that supports my theory... yet.
Here are the latest updates for PC and android:
PC, mainly just bug fixes, nothing new has been announced.
I don't really use the templates, they never seemed to have or do what I needed. Maybe now they'll work better, and I may give them a try again, but I'm used to crafting without them, and just make sure my measurements are correct. At this point templates seem like an extra step for me, but if you need that visual I think this update may help you.
