Hey Y'all!
My apologies, I was going to make this a video, but the day I was going to film was rainy and the lighting wasn't great. Also, it took far less time than I had thought so that was nice.
Before:
This year we opted to use just the little tree. It's a step up from no tree last year. The light curtains were hung in the 2 largest front facing windows, one in the LR and one in the Craft Room. Not pictured is the vintage star, which hung from the center most window, which happens to be the bathroom. It made for a nice night light. (The star is from the 60s, so is that still vintage or is it antique now?)
Obviously the presents got opened on Christmas, and Mom took all the reusable bags.
Also not pictured was the kitchen decor, which mostly consists of a table cloth, and towels.
During:
I took the tree down in a matter of minutes, very simple. The light curtains were a bit of a pain to get in the boxes untangled. That took the longest, by far. The box of holiday in the hall just got added to until I was finished and it went downstairs. The kitchen decor moved to the laundry, and will get put up from there.
We still need to hang the Adventurers sign...
No after photos, because I spent the rest of the day (light) cleaning the death pile/hubby's corner. We bought those smaller DVD racks at Goodwill for the newer system video games, and those and the fist bookshelf were my project for the day. Two more to go and the games & movies will be organized. Yay, Progress!
