The Spooky Halloween Tag Questions:
1. Favorite horror or Halloween-themed song? Monster Mash... It's just so campy and fun.
2. Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building. I mean, pretty much anything/anyone unsavory right?
3. Have you ever played with a Ouija Board? Nope.
4. Favorite horror monster or villain? Creep factor and looks have to go into it right? I guess I'd say Freddy. You can't live without sleeping at some point, and he's a scary looking dude.
5. The creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone? Lights turning off, or on. Noises from other rooms.
6. If you were dared to spend the night in a “haunted house”, would you do it? Heck yeah.
7. Are you superstitious? Not really.
8. Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision? No.
9. Which urban legend scares you the most? Probably the babysitter phone call from the house.
10. Do you prefer gore or thrillers? I like both.
11. Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds? No, but the idea is fun.
12. Ever made a potion of any sort? As a kid all the time. Now? Does shampoo or soap count? LOL
13. Do you get scared easily? Scared, no. But I can know you're hiding around the corner and I will jump 100% of the time.
14. Have you ever played Bloody Mary? Yes, nothing happened.
15. Do you believe in demons/the devil? Eh, unsure.
16. You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do? Say Hi. It's just the old couple who used to live here. She likes to mess with the light in the bedroom.
17. If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose? Can none be an option? Otherwise give me one with a good location.
18. If you could only wear one Halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be? We haven't done costumes for several years... so I don't know, other than comfort above all else.
19. would you ever go to a graveyard at night? Sure.
20. In a zombie apocalypse what is your weapon of choice? Blade. Gun = too much noise, and bow would be too heavy to lug around 24/7. The downside to a blade is it pretty much guarantees you'll be in close contact.
21. Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating? Haunted attraction or corn maze.
22. You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer? The smart one.
23. Do you have to watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep? No.
24. Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time, or the person who falls asleep? I pause and talk about how dumb things are written sometimes, but that's it. (No one is going to run past multiple exits and go upstairs.)
25. Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring? Both.
26. Favorite scary book? Remember the whole Fear Street Saga books? Those were my intro to horror genre books.
27. How old were you when you saw your first horror movie? 9?? The IT miniseries on TV. Mom originally said no, but we begged and begged and Dad gave in. We pulled out the sleeper sofa, grabbed some snacks, and watched the whole thing, and little sis and I didn't go anywhere with out the other for a looooong time after watching.
Looked it up, I was 8... which means my sister was a kindergartner. Why would we want to watch this, and why did our parents let us?
28. What was your first Halloween costume? A clown complete with make up, that I picked out, and sat still for mom to do, excitedly. Then she showed me, and I cried, scared of myself. In my defense I was 3ish. Not my sisters first costume, but a similar story. Remember the masks from the 80s costumes? She picked out Daisy Duck, but was terrified of the mask. I have a pic in my office of Dad wearing the mask to show her it wasn't scary... I don't remember how that ended.
29. What are you going to be for Halloween this year? Myself most likely.
30. If you could have a spooky Halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick? Wolf, 100% They're the spookiest, biggest, and travel in packs.
FUN FRIDAY:
Mine is constantly changing, but just to name one I'll pick... unpopular opinion: Halloween III
